Reviewing Siemens O&M daily report and modules status discuss it with operations general manager. Recording all operations conditions about equipment and making a daily report to the ministry of electricity head office. Define process troubleshooting. Hold a weekly meeting with Siemens O&M to discuss the plant status, ensure their compliance with the contract and present the recommendation of the ministry of electricity head office. Provide guidance and feedback to O&M when needed during normal, startup and shutdown operation.  Reviewing the daily report of All Siemens Plants and make a daily, monthly and yearly technical reports for them (Burullus, New Capita and Beni Suif). Develop with Siemens O&M short and long-term operational and maintenance plans for power plants; seek City Council approval; manage and oversee the work of outside consultants and contractors. Evaluate and assess power plant operations and maintenance procedures and identify areas in need of change; investigate and correct unusual conditions. Make Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and define their corrective action. Ensure compliance with local, State, and Federal rules and regulations and permits especially as related to environmental, health and safety issues.

Supervise staff to ensure that daily tasks are completed on time and according to safety laws. Provide guidance and feedback to staff when needed during normal, startup and shutdown operation. Assign tasks and work permits for both operation and maintenance staff. Recording all operation conditions about equipment and making a daily report to the top manager. Evaluate staff performance and make a monthly report to manager to provide training where necessary.  Coordination with operations and maintenance team regarding the routine, preventive and predictive maintenance requirements.

Making sure, that Boiler and its aux work properly and meets client needs. Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines. Creating and carrying out testing procedures. Ensuring that Boiler and its Aux installation follows the process and it works to its specification. Ensures quick response and corrective action time of technical inquires. Follow and assist in performing chemical cleaning and passivation process. Construct all the recommended temporary pipes, valves and supports needed according to standers and designer drawing to make steam blowing.

Making sure, that Turbine and its aux work properly and meets client needs. Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines. Ensuring that Turbine and its Aux installation follows the process and it works to its specification. Ensures quick response and corrective action time of technical inquires. Prepare and maintain commission records of site observation, testing and checklists.

Provide direction and guidance based on technical feedback from Siemens company for troubleshooting, maintenance and test activates. Mange plant production efficiency based on data driven decision to ensure safety and reliability targets are met to achieve maximum profitability. Maintain accurate document control and monitor quality assurance initiatives. Ensure safety, reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, controls and safety/security system. Report a daily production progress and plant status to WDPC head office. Ensure all environmental regulatory requirements are met. Communication of plant activities with all operation shifts for save and reliable operation. provide focused leadership to the shift team to achieve plant performance and ensure optimum level of power and water export as required by the off taker.

Carry out commissioning and performance tests with vendors. Monitor Condensate & Feed Water System performance during start up, normal operation and shut down. Make manual adjustments to Pumps, Heaters, Compressor, Heat Exchanger and other AUX during their servicing to work safe. Recording all operation conditions about equipment and making a daily report. Detecting problems with all Condensate & Feed water System, giving work permits and monitor maintenance process.

Carry out all installation, commissioning and performance tests with Vendor. Monitor boiler performance during start up, normal operation and shut down. Make manual adjustments to FDF, GRF, burners and other Aux during their servicing to work safe. Recording all operation conditions about equipment and making a daily report. Detecting problems with all boiler equipment, giving work permits and monitor maintenance process.

Carry out Vacuum pump installation, Turbine and Generator commissioning and performance tests with Vendor.  Complete MELCO Generator Overhaul after generator ring breakdown. Monitor Turbine, Condenser & Generator performance during start up, normal operation and shut down. Make manual adjustments to equipment during their servicing to work safe. Recording all operation conditions about equipment and making a daily report. Detecting problems with all boiler equipment, giving work permits and monitor maintenance process. Making weekly & monthly Turbine tests.

Carry out New 220/500 KV Tie Transformer installation, commissioning and performance tests with Vendor.  Carry out changing Abu Qir - Burullus 500 KV circuit to Abu Qir - Tami Elamdid 500 KV circuit. Connect and disconnect circuits and transformers with the National Grid Control Center. Monitor 220/500 KV Tie transformer (1&2), Abu Qir - Kafr Elzayat (1&2) 500 KV circuit, Abu Qir - Tami Elamdid 500 KV circuit, Main & Aux Transformers and all Load Centers. Recording all operation conditions about Circuits & transformers and making a daily report. Sending & receiving official letters between Abu Qir Thermal Power Plant & National Energy Control Center about all scheduled and emergency planes of the plant.

Drawing up a training plan, managing budgets, producing materials needed for training and working with training providers to develop suitable content for the courses.
