Job Description
Our Client:
The world’s largest Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle facility and
large–scale investment in Gasification & associated utilities/facilities. The 4
GW Combined Cycle Power Generation Plant consists of Syngas/ULSD fired
Gas Turbines, HRSGs, Steam Turbines, Water Cooled Condenser, Process
Steam and Water Systems, including the related equipment, piping and
process valves and Sea Water Condenser Cooling system.

Maintenance Senior Director
DIMENSIONS:
• All equipment at the Power Block
• Gasification encompasses 5 World Scale cogeneration units
comprising of 15 generators, 10 Gas turbines, and 5 steam turbines
as well as 5 heat recovery units.
• Power Generations plants running on Syngas
• Budget Impact: Approx. $72MM in FY 2024 • Replacement investment
of facility> $3.0BB
• Number of Reports:13 Direct Reports ,70 Indirect Reports
Education and Experience:
• Saudi National
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, or
Instrument & Controls)
• Master Degree preferred
• 15 years’ experience of gas, petrochemical, or related in operations,
engineering, and/or maintenance function.
• 10+ years in maintenance supervision with expertise in maintenance
work process with a track record.
• Strong computer skills, knowledgeable in maintenance software programs, with a background in SAP preferred
• Implement cost effective common systems cascaded by the
Engineering/Technical Team
• Manage maintenance budget, as developed with Operations,
Technical & Financial Teams
• Power Generation (Siemens/GE) experience is mandatory
• Manage Maintenance team consisting of a contract coordinator,
planner, mechanical, electrical, and instrument technicians, &
warehouse management
• Build maintenance’s team capability through support coordination
from Management Regional & Global teams.
• Proven track record of Managing Maintenance of large world class
power generation plants.
• Demonstrated technical and practical engineering skills with a good
business sense in the maintenance field.
• Proven coordination experience in a multi team environment which
includes engineering and maintenance.
• Good leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability
to communicate clearly and effectively throughout all levels within
the organization and externally.
• Strong oral and written skills with the ability to communicate and
manage maintenance activities to the facility management team on
daily basis.
• Knowledge of construction and maintenance of large and complex
rotating equipment: compressors, turbines, pumps, expanders,
pressurized systems, control and instrumentation, and electrical
equipment and systems.
• Must have experience in major shutdown support, project work,
plant operations and maintenance efforts
